These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Factled (the “Service”), a tool that turns the details you provide into publish-ready B2B case study drafts you review before publishing. The Service is operated by Anthon Fredriksson, an individual sole trader established in Sweden (“Factled,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at privacy@factled.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Factled takes the inputs you supply — a guided form or a pasted transcript — and uses an AI model to generate a publish-ready case study you must review before relying on it. The Service is instructed to use only the details you provide and not to invent metrics or quotes, but AI output can contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every generated story before publishing or relying on it.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time email “magic link” — there is no password. You are responsible for the security of the email account you use and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).
3. Credits, payment, and refunds
- Generating a case study requires credits, purchased in packs through our payment processor, Stripe. You can preview a sample case study before buying.
- Each finished story costs 1 credit. Generations that fail are not charged, and credits do not expire.
- A credit delivers digital content the moment it is used, so a used credit is non-refundable. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days and receive a refund for any credits you have not yet used; by using a credit before the 14 days elapse, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for that credit.
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at privacy@factled.com and we will look into it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, or to misrepresent facts about a third party;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or any security measure;
- reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from the Service; or
- submit content you do not have the right to submit.
5. Your content and outputs
You retain ownership of the inputs you submit. As between you and us, you own the case studies generated from your inputs, and we claim no ownership of them. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs and store your inputs and outputs to operate the Service (for example, to show them in your library). You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and use of any content you submit or publish.
6. Intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our marks or software except the right to use the Service as permitted here.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for publication. You must independently verify it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Factled will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for your mandatory rights as a consumer. If you use the Service as a consumer, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by the mandatory law of your country of residence.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law, disputes & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you use the Service as a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and nothing here deprives you of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you are an EU consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may submit it through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to privacy@factled.com.
